👨💻 About the Role
We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Process Quality Engineer to be a part of our expanding team in China! As we grow both steadily and swiftly, we're embarking on numerous new projects. For these ventures, we require an enthusiastic individual who can champion quality control and continuous improvement across our manufacturing processes, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
Please note that this role will be situated at our office in Dongguan, China, working on-site from Monday–Friday. The normal working hours will be 9am–6:30pm CST.
👋 About You
As a Process Quality Engineer at Mous, you'll work collaboratively with our New Product Development (NPD) team, Engineering team, Quality team, and Production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment, playing a crucial role in driving our projects to successful completion with precision and efficiency.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Lead root cause analysis (using 8D, 5Why) for production and post-sales quality issues.
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective QCPs.
- Collect, analyse, and report on process and quality data using tools like Minitab or Excel.
- Design, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes, identifying risks via PFMEA.
- Support the transition from prototype to mass production.
- Create process documentation (SOPs, Control Plans) and train teams.
- Collaborate internationally with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
🤓 Skills Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process development, quality control, or production management, ideally in consumer electronics or mobile accessories.
- Proficient in PFMEA, QCP development, 8D, 5Why, control charts, and ISO 9001.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Minitab and Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and keen attention to detail.
- Fluent in technical English for effective global communication.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
